HOUSTON, TX — PM Realty Group (“PMRG”), a nationally recognized, full-service commercial real estate firm, today announced that Marilyn Lucas has joined PMRG as Senior Vice President and Director of Asset Management. In this role, Ms. Lucas will oversee PMRG’s national office portfolio and report to Roger Gregory, President of Investments. She will be responsible for optimizing value for PMRG’s office assets, including executing asset level strategies, monitoring and evaluating operations and financial performance, managing leasing programs, assessing and overseeing capital improvement programs, and developing and implementing other initiatives to maximize investment returns. She will also assist the investment team with evaluating acquisitions and dispositions.

An industry veteran, Lucas joins PMRG from CWCapital where she was Vice President, Senior Asset Manager, REO. Over the past four years, Ms. Lucas was responsible for a national portfolio of distressed office, industrial and retail assets totalling more than 10 million square feet and representing an outstanding loan balance of $1.6 billion. During her tenure, she closed on the disposition of more than 20 assets totalling $740 MM in value. Previously, Ms. Lucas was a Principal at The Carlyle Group in Washington, D.C. where she was involved in the asset management of U.S. real estate investments totalling $2.8 billion in capitalization. Prior to joining The Carlyle Group, Ms. Lucas was a Senior Associate in the Investments group at CarrAmerica Realty Corporation, and prior thereto an Assistant Vice President at Combined Properties, Inc.
Ms. Lucas received her master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning with a concentration in Real Estate Development from The George Washington University, where she was an Oliver T. Carr scholarship recipient. She holds a B.A. from Brigham Young University. Ms. Lucas previously served on the board of Rebuilding Together of Washington D.C. for 15 years, including two years as its President, and is currently a rescue transport volunteer for DogsXL.
