As President of Property Services, Jimmy Gunn is responsible for oversight of PMRG’s Property Services division. Property Services includes all property management, leasing, construction management, engineering and facility management services.
Mr. Gunn brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience. He joined PMRG from Prentiss Properties, where he headed a large eastern region portfolio of office and industrial properties for numerous institutional and private investors. After beginning his real estate career with Cadillac Fairview Urban Development, where he oversaw the management of several premier properties, including Dallas' Bank One Center and MCenter Complex, he served as senior manager for the One Atlantic Center complex in Atlanta.
Mr. Gunn holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas, where he lettered for two NCAA National Champion Football Teams. He studied real estate finance and asset management at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Mr. Gunn’s professional affiliations include the Urban Land Institute (ULI), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) where he has served on the organization's Board of Directors and is currently serving on the National Advisory Council. He is also a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).
As President of PMRG’s Western Division, Jim Proehl is responsible for managing a portfolio of over 25 million square feet in 11 western states with a staff of over 225 real estate professionals. Mr. Proehl's success with coordinating the repositioning of numerous projects and transitioning large multi-building portfolios in his 19 years with PMRG has helped fuel the growth of the Western Division.
Mr. Proehl brings more than 30 years of diversified real estate experience in asset management, development, finance and property management. Prior to joining PMRG, Mr. Proehl held the position of Development Manager for Tooley & Company where he managed the development of two high-rise Class A office buildings, each in excess of 400,000 square feet. As a Senior Asset Manager with Metropolitan Life, Mr. Proehl managed a Colorado and Kansas commercial real estate portfolio valued at over $300 million, including office buildings, hotels and retail centers. Mr. Proehl began his real estate career at Williams Realty Corporation, where he was an Associate Development Director with responsibilities for coordinating the legal, planning, financial, design and construction management for two mixed-use projects in Kansas City and San Antonio. In addition to his development experience at Williams, Mr. Proehl gained a thorough understanding of the financial reporting requirements of working for a publicly traded company.
Mr. Proehl holds a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Tulsa with an emphasis in real estate and a bachelor’s degree from Southeast Missouri State University.
As President of PMRG’s Central Division, Wade Bowlin is responsible for all aspects of the division’s operations, including providing critical support for leasing, property and construction management initiatives as well as new business development and client relations for PMRG’s portfolio of office, retail, medical and industrial properties; a portfolio that totals over 65 million square feet.
Mr. Bowlin brings more than 30 years of experience in real estate with the last 25 years involved in the Houston Market. He has been responsible for the lease negotiation of many large transactions of over 100,000 square feet such as Shell Oil Company, Jacobs Engineering, EPCO, Conoco Phillips, BP Amoco, Litton Loan Servicing, Burlington Resources, CAL-Dive, Sasol, NRG and STM Mortgage to name a few. Mr. Bowlin has personally averaged over 60 lease transactions per year for every year he has been in commercial real estate.
Mr. Bowlin has been named a “Power Broker” by the CoStar Group over the past several years and one of Houston’s “Heavy Hitter’s” by the Houston Business Journal since its inception. In 2015, Mr. Bowlin was named the top office landlord broker by the Houston Business Journal.
Mr. Bowlin is a graduate of Texas Tech University and is a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA), and the Urban Land Institute (ULI).
As President of PMRG's Eastern Division, Bill Weghorst oversees long term strategies for the entire East Coast portfolio and is responsible for leasing prominent Atlanta landmarks as One Glenlake, Powers Ferry Landing, 999 Peachtree, The Fountains at Piedmont Center, and Northridge Center.
Mr. Weghorst brings more than 25 years of office leasing experience in the Atlanta market. He has completed more than 1,000 lease transactions totaling in excess of 6.0 million square feet and with an aggregate dollar value of more than $600 million.
Prior to joining PMRG, Mr. Weghorst was Senior Vice President of Asset Services at CB Richard Ellis, where he was responsible for the marketing and leasing of approximately 4.5 million square feet of office space throughout Atlanta. His portfolio included major urban high-rise towers and multi-building suburban mid-rise developments.
Mr. Weghorst served as Senior Managing Director for Insignia/ESG prior to the firm's merger with CBRE. During his tenure with Insignia/ESG, he gained recognition as one of the city's most creative and aggressive third-party leasing agents.
During his career, Mr. Weghorst has leased many prominent Atlanta office properties including Bank of America Plaza, Centennial Tower, The Plaza, Lakeside Commons, RiverEdge Place and 2100 RiverEdge, Piedmont Center Building 14, Northlake Office Park, Tower Place 100 and 200, One Georgia Center, Cumberland Office Park, 1117 Perimeter Center West, Crescent Centre, and the Peachtree Lenox Building.
Mr. Weghorst has been recognized numerous times over the years for his leasing achievements. He has also received the 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013 “Power Broker Award” by CoStar Group, which recognizes Atlanta's top brokers based on leasing activity for the year. He is an active member of the Commercial Board of Realtors and the National Association of Industrial and Office Parks (NAIOP), where he was a charter member of the Million Dollar Club. He also sits on the Advisory Board for CoStar and is an honorary member of the Georgia State University Real Estate Honorary Board.
As Executive Vice President, Bryant Nail oversees all mixed-use, high-density urban development projects for PM Realty Group (PMRG).
Mr. Nail brings more than 20 years of experience in real estate development, not only in high-density urban development but also in retail, office and the hospitality industry.
Prior to joining PMRG, Mr. Nail served as Partner and Vice President of Development for Amicus Partners, Ltd. where he was responsible for all aspects of mid to high-rise residential development projects in Addison Circle, Dallas, Houston, and Plano. Among the notable projects he worked on is the Eastside Village development, a four-story wood frame project adjacent to the Downtown Plano DART Station.
Before Amicus Partners, Ltd., Mr. Nail worked for Post Properties, a publicly-traded REIT based in Atlanta, as Vice President of Development in the Western region, encompassing all aspects of real estate development, including land acquisitions, financing, political interface, design and construction, property development, as well as leasing and marketing. He was responsible for development projects in Jackson, Mississippi, Dallas, Addison, and Denver, Colorado; including the highly received and awarded new mixed-use community, Addison Circle Phases I and II, in Addison, Texas, and the St. Luke's hospital site development in Denver. Both prospects were public private partnerships where the municipalities contributed over $20 million for infrastructure to support the developments.
Mr. Nail is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and its Urban Revitalization Council, The Real Estate Council (TREC) of Dallas and serves on the board of directors for the Addison Business Association.
As Senior Vice President, Director of Accounting and Finance, Janie Franco is responsible for directing all of PM Realty Group’s (PMRG's) corporate and property accounting, tax and treasury functions. These functions include establishing and maintaining accounting principles, procedures and initiatives. Ms. Franco and her accounting team provide the highest financial reporting standards of accuracy, timeliness and efficiency while establishing PM Realty Group as a leader in real estate financial reporting.
Ms. Franco brings more than 20 years of accounting experience. Prior to joining PMRG, Ms. Franco spent three years at Equity Office Properties as the Regional Finance Director accountable for Texas and Louisiana markets with some oversight of the Southern California market and Chicago-based corporate responsibilities. Ms. Franco spent almost 10 years in public accounting at PricewaterhouseCoopers as an audit manager focusing on financial services and real estate clients in addition to being a selected member of the Risk Quality Review team with international audit review responsibilities.
Ms. Franco holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from The University of Texas where she graduated with high honors. She is a certified public accountant licensed in the state of Texas.
As Vice President of Human Resources, Candace Day-Butler is responsible for the management of PMRG’s employee relations, benefits, talent acquisition, compensation, payroll and organizational development.
Mrs. Day-Butler brings over 18 years of experience in corporate and commercial real estate organizations. In her most recent role, as HR Director for Contango Oil & Gas Company, she combined her organizational expertise implementing cost-effective enterprise software solutions with a creative and disciplined approach to talent management and organizational planning. Her professional skills and leadership successfully supported the organization through a period of challenging mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and industry change.
Mrs. Day-Butler has over seven years of experience in the commercial real estate industry, serving in roles of increasing responsibility at Weingarten Realty Investors. At Weingarten she designed and implemented effective compensation, benefits and training programs.
Mrs. Day-Butler is a respected leader and team integrator, an early-adopter of technology solutions, and a champion of employee communications and empowerment. She will finalize her Master’s degree in Human Resources & Employee Relations from Pennsylvania State University during 2018, is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and a Certified Professional from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM-CP).
