PM REALTY GROUP AWARDED PROPERTY MANAGEMENT ASSIGNMENT FOR HORIZON TECH CENTER
Firm's Western Division Increases California Presence with New Assignment
SAN DIEGO, CA - PM Realty Group (PMRG), a national, full-service commercial real estate firm, today announced that San Diego (CA) - 1031 Meanley Office Syndicated Holdings, LLC awarded PMRG the property management assignment for the newly constructed Horizon Tech Center, a three building, 158,000 square foot, class A corporate office campus located within Phase III of Scripps Ranch Business Park in Central San Diego County.
Developed in 2008 by Opus West Corporation, the 11.3 acre office campus is 100% occupied by Lockheed Martin, a global security company principally engaged in the research, design, development, manufacturing, integration and sustainment of advanced technology systems, products and services, and will house nearly 500 Lockheed Martin and government employees and contractors.
The Horizon Tech Center campus is considered one of the top “green” projects in San Diego County and has obtained LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Certification status incorporating state-of-the-art strategies for energy efficiency, water conservation and numerous other leading-edge green technologies.
“We are excited to work with such a well-recognized “green” office complex and continue to exercise our property management philosophy of achieving energy efficiencies,” said Jim Proehl, executive vice president and managing director for PMRG's western division. “Our staff continually identify areas where energy savings can be realized and aggressively work with building ownership, service providers and tenants to attain increases in building performance that will not only lower energy costs but will also contribute to the protection of our environment.”
This assignment will come under the leadership of John Rowen, senior vice president of operations and engineering services for PMRG's western division and Cindy Kamps, property manager.
