Monty Smith has over 21 years of diversified development background which includes healthcare, office buildings, corporate campuses, banks and high rise luxury multifamily. As Senior Development Officer for PM Realty Group, Mr. Smith directs and administers all facets of development in the Dallas region, from the initial client contact, contracts, overseeing the design team through execution of construction. Responsibilities include management and oversight of assigned development projects to include planning, inspecting and staffing for each development phase, and conferring with engineering personnel and inspectors to resolve development issues and improve methods.

Mr. Smith’s past experience includes the master planning growth of two regional hospitals involving the design and implementation of the plan. In addition, Mr. Smith  has worked closely with developers over the years assisting with corporate campus master plans. Most recently, Mr. Smith was involved in the development of the Sierra Master Plan with Microsoft as the primary tenant, a $35 million, 21-story luxury high-rise in Houston, and an eight building, $350 million mixed use master planned ‘Life Style Center’ in Las Colinas. Other recent luxury high-rise multifamily projects include a 25-story in Miami, a 32-story in the Buckhead area of Atlanta, a 26-story and a 29-story in Dallas.

Mr. Smith earned a Masters of Architecture degree in 1986 and an Environmental Design degree in 1984.
