HOUSTON, TX – PM Realty Group, one of the nation’s leading full-service commercial real estate firms, today announced that James C. “Jimmy” Gunn, has been promoted to President of Property Services for the Houston-based company.
As President, Gunn will continue to oversee the national delivery of property management, leasing and construction management services to a 140 million-square-foot portfolio valued at more than $12 billion. PM Realty Group also maintains complementary business units focused on corporate services, investment sales and development and acquisition services, enabling the firm to address client needs at any point during the real estate cycle. “Since joining PM Realty Group in 1996, Jimmy has played a pivotal role in expanding our service menu and extending the firm’s regional foot print in key markets throughout the country,” said Rick V. Kirk, president and CEO of PM Realty Group. “Under his leadership, we’ve been able to attract some of the best talent in the industry which has enabled us to grow and diversify while maintaining the strictest quality standards. He’s a critical part of the PM organization.”
While PM Realty Group has continued to grow its core property management business during the last four years, Gunn has led an aggressive expansion of the firm’s national leasing portfolio, which grew by more than 30 percent. During the same period, other business lines including the firm’s Investment Services division more than tripled its transaction volume while the Development/Acquisition Services group continued to increase the number of active development projects.

He earned both his graduate and undergraduate degrees from The University of Texas where he lettered for two NCAA National Champion Football teams. He also studied real estate finance and asset management at the Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University.
Gunn is active in the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA) and has served on the organization’s Board of Directors. He is also a member of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), and the Industrial Development Research Council (IRDC). |
