SAN DIEGO, CA - PM Realty Group, one of the nation’s leading full-service commercial real estate firms, today announced that Cybele Thompson has been promoted to Regional Vice President of San Diego, effective September 1.

Cybele Thompson, now Regional Vice President, previously served as General Manager of La Jolla Executive Tower since 1990. With PM Realty Group since 2000, Thompson was responsible for all the property management and leasing efforts associated with La Jolla Executive Tower for PM Realty on behalf of Prudential Real Estate Investors, the current owner of La Jolla Executive Tower.

In her new role as Regional Vice President, Thompson will provide strong local leadership and support to PM Realty Group’s growing client base and existing assets throughout San Diego. In addition to overseeing San Diego operations and client relations, Thompson will be responsible for developing new business, especially with local and regional property owners. “As we continue to grow and expand in San Diego, it has been our goal to hire a strong, local leader with broad experience and deep expertise in the areas of marketing, leasing, operations, customer service, client relations and new business development,” said Terry Thompson, Senior Vice President of Southern California for PM Realty Group. “Based on her performance at La Jolla Executive Tower, her commitment to her clients and fellow employees, as well as her involvement, presence and reputation in the San Diego community, Cybele was the obvious choice for this important role.”

PM Realty Group’s San Diego presence has grown to nearly three million square feet within the past three years, managing or leasing some notable office projects, such as La Jolla Executive Tower, Sorrento Towers, Hazard Center, Executive Complex and Scripps Corporate Plaza.

Thompson has a B.S. in real estate and finance from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration. She currently serves as President of BOMA California (Building Owners & Managers Association) and was the former President of BOMA San Diego; she also served as President of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW San Diego) in 1999. Thompson has been honored with several awards, including the Tribute to Women & Industry (TWIN San Diego) Award in 2002 and the BOMA San Diego Office Building of the Year Award in 2001 and 2002.
