HONOLULU – PM Realty Group, one of the nation’s leading full-service commercial real estate firms, today announced that Wendell F. Brooks III has joined the firm’s Honolulu office as Vice President. Wendell F. Brooks III previously served as vice president of Chaney, Brooks & Co., a family business that was sold to foreign investors in 1988. Although Brooks had no family connection or principal role at the firm following the sale, he has earned a reputation as one of the top real estate service providers in Hawaii.
Brooks oversees all real estate leasing, property management and property sale transactions in Hawaii for companies such as Chevron and Kaiser Permanente, and also represents SafeWay and Cold Stone Creamery in leasing and acquisition/sale transactions. In addition, he maintains a thriving business in leasing and selling shopping centers, other retail properties, resort properties and medical office buildings. Most recently, in late June he represented the seller, HBS Ltd. Partnership, in the sale of Piilani Village Shopping Center on Maui for approximately $29 million.
"PM Realty Group is pleased to welcome Wendell Brooks to the Honolulu office, and we are confident he will be an important driver of our growth and success in Hawaii," said Jim Proehl, Senior Vice President & Director of the West Division of PM Realty Group.
“With the addition of Wendell, the Honolulu office of PM Realty Group now offers a more complete range of commercial property services,” said Scott Kuklish, Senior Vice President of PM Realty Group, who oversees the Honolulu office. "We hope his arrival will lead to additional good news for our firm in the coming weeks."
“In addition to having talented professionals in Hawaii, PM Realty Group shares my deep commitment to providing the highest level of service to clients, and backing up that commitment with the resources to get the job done,” Brooks said. |
