Hiring of Top Real Estate Pro Prompts Move of Division Headquarters to Washington, D.C.
WASHINGTON, D.C. - PM Realty Group, one of the nation’s largest independent full-service commercial real estate firms, today announced the appointment of David W. Parker as senior vice president and director of the Eastern Division. Parker has worked in the commercial real estate industry for 18 years and has experience in development, leasing, property management, finance and investment sales. Parker will direct leasing, property management and construction management operations throughout the division, overseeing offices in Atlanta, New York, Detroit, Washington, Orlando and Tampa.
With Parker's arrival, the Eastern Division office has been relocated from Atlanta to Washington, D.C., where Parker resides and where he sees an opportunity to increase PM Realty Group's presence. Atlanta remains a key market for the firm , as evidenced by the recent promotion of Steve Dils to senior vice president, as well as several other senior-level personnel appointments in recent months.
Before joining PM Realty Group, Parker served as senior vice president with Cassidy & Pinkard, Inc., a regional full-service real estate firm. There, he reopened the northern Virginia office, directing the firm’s efforts to expand its brokerage business in that market and worked with clients such as Hines Interests, Lend Lease and The World Bank. Parker also managed the Mid-Atlantic office at Prentiss Properties, overseeing 7 million square feet of properties located in Virginia, Washington, D.C., Maryland, and New Jersey.
Parker currently serves as vice chairman of the Loudoun County Economic Development Commission and president of the Dulles Area Transportation Association. He is on the board of directors of Hubert Construction and has served on various task forces and work groups at the Washington Board of Trade, NAIOP, Loudoun County and The Washington Committee.
“Having known and respected David for many years, we have every confidence that the Eastern Division will continue to thrive under his direction,” said Rick Kirk, President of PM Realty Group. “David knows how to provide service in a manner that produces loyal clients and enhances the PM Realty Group brand." |
