Accomplished, High-Profile Dallas Player Boosts PM Realty Group's Local Growth Plans
DALLAS - PM Realty Group, one of the nation’s largest independent full-service commercial real estate firms, today announced the appointment of Bernard Deaton to Senior Vice President & Director of the Dallas Region. In this newly created position, Deaton oversees the growth and operations of property management, construction management and leasing in Dallas, San Antonio, Austin and El Paso, Texas.
As a principal of Fults Realty Corporation for 21 years, Deaton ran the property services business of the highly regarded Dallas-based firm until it was acquired by Kennedy-Wilson International in October 1999. Since then, Deaton has served as Senior Managing Director at Kennedy-Wilson, where he oversaw property services operations in Dallas. He is a member of the Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) and the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM), and has earned the designation of Certified Property Manager (CPM).
“Bernard Deaton is a well-known and well-regarded name in Dallas,” said Rick Kirk, President of PM Realty Group. “Although we were not specifically looking for someone for this position, we could not pass up the opportunity to bring in a professional with his stature and quality track record.”
In his new position, Deaton reports to Bill Goeke, Senior Vice President & Central Division Director. “The addition of Bernard Deaton provides a tremendous boost to our presence and capabilities in Dallas and other Texas cities,” Goeke said. “Our portfolio in Dallas has grown significantly over the past year, but we believe that this growth will accelerate under Bernard's direction.”
“One reason I decided to join PM Realty Group was the depth of the management and support functions that make a noticeable difference in property performance and value creation,” Deaton said. “Other real estate firms may employ excellent individuals, but it is becoming increasingly rare for firms to invest, as PM Realty Group does, in accounting, training and other support functions that are necessary to the delivery of quality client service.” |
