First Assignment, 300,000-Square-Foot HQ and Distribution Center
for Litex Industries, Is Under Construction
PM Realty Group, one of the nation’s largest independent full-service commercial real estate firms, today announced the formation of the Development & Acquisition Services group, to be run from the Dallas Regional Office by two experienced professionals in the field. Glen W. Perkins, CCIM, CPM, has been appointed Senior Vice President & Director and Daniel B. Mahoney has been named Vice President of the group.
Perkins and Mahoney join the firm with a development assignment already in the works. Construction is under way on a 300,000-square-foot, two-story international headquarters and distribution facility for Litex Industries in Grand Prairie, Texas.
"PM Realty Group's ability to offer a broad spectrum of real estate services is enhanced by the addition of build-to-suit development, project management and financial expertise offered by Glen Perkins and Dan Mahoney," said Rick Kirk, President of PM Realty Group. "This new group is a natural extension of our mainstay businesses in property management, leasing, investment sales and construction management. However, the main reason we are forming this division now is the ability to add Glen and Dan to our company’s talent roster.”
Perkins joined PM Realty Group after an 18-year career with Kennedy-Wilson International/R&B Commercial Real Estate, where he served as Senior Managing Director subsequent to the sale of his company, R&B Commercial. He has also held the position of President and Divisional Partner in one of The Trammell Crow Companies. Perkins is a licensed Real Estate Broker and has also achieved the real estate industry designations, Certified Commercial Investment Member and Certified Property Manager.
"Glen Perkins is recognized for his ability to identify “niche” opportunities and to maximize value for our clients by completing developments on time and on budget while managing the entire investment process," Kirk said.
In his new role, Dan Mahoney will use his expertise in land development, build-to-suit project construction, coordination of tax-increment financing, and tenant improvements. He has more than 20 years of experience at building relationships with major corporations pursuant to his tenure as the former planning director of Richardson and executive director of the Irving Economic Development Foundation. Prior to joining PM Realty Group, Mahoney served as Director of Project Services at Kennedy-Wilson International. Mahoney has managed numerous developments such as the Four Seasons Hotels in Austin and Dallas and Williams Square in Irving. He is a member of the Texas Economic Development Council, International Development Research Council and the American Institute of Certified Planners. |
